MEET THE
FLEETFOOT TEAM
The Fleetfoot
Management team is a group of seasoned professionals with many years
experience in the Distribution industry. Founded in 1980, Fleetfoot
has grown up in Seattle and the Pacific Northwest.

Gary
Brose, 56, is the owner of Fleetfoot and is General Manager.
Gary has been in the delivery business for 35 years, including
5 years with FedEx and 26+ years as the President and owner of
Fleetfoot. In 1998, Gary sold Fleetfoot to a public company but
bought the company back in 2001 when the public company faltered.
The new entity formed to buy Fleetfoot back, is known as US
Dispatch Corp. USDC provides dispatch and back-office services
to four different companies, including Fleetfoot. He is the founder
of the Washington State Courier Association (1990) and served
as the Chairman of the Mayor's Small Business Task Force in '95
and '96. Gary is a big baseball fan and plays wherever he can
do the least damage on the Fleetfoot softball team. His teammates
call him "The Bat" (and then they laugh) due to his
prodigious blasts that sometimes get all the way out of the infield.

Tom
Ernest is the Accounting Manager for Fleetfoot. He started
with the company as a customer service agent and dispatcher in
January 2000. Tom manages the accounts receivable and all of the
billing functions. Tom also functions as Gary's favorite scapegoat
and gets to take the blame for everything that goes wrong including
the weather or hitting slumps by Mariner players.

Alexx
Roberts is US Dispatch's Vice President of Operations. He
manages multiple Supervisors and Managers for Fleetfoot as well
as our other divisions, Runway Express Delivery and US Dispatch
Route Services. Over 65 couriers report to him and he manages
to keep them all in line. Alex started as a moped rider for Fleetfoot
shortly before the first Ice Age in December '86. He drove over
100,000 miles for the company as a car driver, Safety Manager
and Road Manager. He sings in a Blues band and dresses better
than Gary every day of the week.

Shaun
Martindale joined Fleetfoot in 1990 as a delivery driver.
He was later promoted to Dispatcher and Office Manager. As the
company changed, Shaun's talents were needed in other areas and
he now serves as the Warehouse Manager and Traffic Manager for
Fleetfoot's Sister Company, Logistics Northwest. Shaun coordinates
and supervises all the large freight deliveries nationwide and
internationally for the Freight Forwarding company. For more information
on that service, visit www.logisticsnorthwest.com.
Shaun enjoys watching the Sonics and other sporting events. He
also plays Centerfield on the Fleetfoot softball team and enjoys
making fun of Gary's meager athletic abilities.

Heather
Willott is our Customer Service Manager. Heather rose through
the ranks and in the process learned how to do just about every
task there is in our dispatch office. Customers with special requests
or unusual problem deliveries will find that Heather takes it
all in stride and makes sure everything gets done as it should.
Heather is a pleasant and easy-going person and she helps all
the other managers stay focused on the customer, but if we ever
get out of line, well, we don't want to go there……

Dave
Burn is our Personnel Manager. Dave is the first Personnel
Manager that the company has ever had. In 2006, we added many
more employees and Independent Contractors and surpassed the 100
mark. As the company gets larger, a full-time Human Resources
person was needed. After an extensive search project for HR talent
outside the company, it was agreed that the best candidate was
already here, working for us as a Lead Courier. Dave has previous
experience in HR and as a counselor, but mostly Gary hired him
because he looks so wise. I mean, look at that face. Its like
a cross between Santa Claus and Ernest Hemingway! How could we
go wrong!

John
Jankowski, also known as JJ, is our 24/7 Dispatch and Road
Manager. John manages all dispatch operations during the evening
hours after 7pm until our morning ops begin again at 7:30 am.
He also manages the dispatch ops throughout the 48 hours of the
weekends and on all holidays. JJ is also responsible for staffing
and managing the Road Crew during those hours. JJ has a ton of
experience in the industry, having worked as a courier, Airport
Ops Manager and even a long haul driver. JJ is a big Seahawk and
football fan in general and he takes far too much glee in kicking
Gary's ass in the Company football pool! |
